SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices fell across all categories at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Nov 8).

This came after COE prices for large cars and those in the Open category hit a record high for the sixth straight exercise on Oct 18. Prices for vehicles in both categories recorded falls of over 20 per cent on Wednesday.

In the latest exercise, premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) or fully electric cars with output of up to 110kW fell 9.73 per cent to S$95,689.

Premiums for large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW) or fully electric cars with output over 110kW saw premiums slumped about 27 per cent from S$150,001 in the previous bidding exercise to S$110,001.

COE prices for goods vehicles and buses fell 8.01 per cent to S$78,001.

In the motorcycle category, premiums dipped to S$10,889, compared to S$11,201 in the previous bidding exercise.

Finally, in the Open category, which can be used for any type of vehicle except motorcycles, premiums sank by 20.89 per cent to S$125,001.

A total of 3,133 bids were received, with a quota of 2,411 available COEs.
